The outbreak of COVID-19 has been incredibly stressful for various communities throughout the city. Anxiety can be overwhelming and cause strong emotions in adults and children. Please find listed below some resources to help you cope, help your immediate circle learn how to manage the anxiety and ultimately help to mentally build your community back up.
In honor of Black History Month, I would like to share with you to the upcoming online webinar "Black Table Talk: Grown Folks Healing" taking place on Friday, February 26th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
This webinar will be hosted by SFDPH Behavioral Health Services, in partnership with Supervisor Shamman Walton, Supervisor Dean Preston, Rafiki Coalition for Health & Wellness, Bayview Hunter's Point YMCA, Heal SF, and Joint Information Center. The webinar will focus on wellness in the Black community and culturally-specific wellness resources for people of African Descent.
